MaxLinear Quality Process Earns ISO 9001:2008 Certification

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MaxLinear Inc. (NYSE: MXL), a leading provider of integrated radio frequency (RF) and mixed-signal integrated circuits for broadband communications applications, announced today that it has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification from UL DQS Inc. for the quality management system it uses in the design and contracted manufacture of its radio-frequency and mixed-signal semiconductors.

MaxLinear’s certification became official on June 25, 2015.

ISO 9001 is a family of standards related to quality management systems and designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers, shareholders and employees. The certification of compliance with ISO 9001 recognizes that MaxLinear’s policies, practices and procedures ensure consistent quality in its services and work product.

The ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard was developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and establishes an effective quality management program for manufacturing companies. Important components of ISO 9001:2008 include customer satisfaction and establishing processes for continuous improvement.
